Vespers is simply a word that means evening worship. We invite you to join your friends and neighbors for an evening of authentic worship of Jesus. A great way to end the week. This service is open to everyone. For those with no church affiliation this is a great opportunity to explore an authentic community of Christian faith. For those with a church home, it’s a great time to come together and make much of Jesus with other believers in our county.
We meet at the facility of the Saint Martin’s Evangelical Lutheran Church located at the corner of Hollingsworth Road and Kansas Highway 7.
The one hour service will focus primarily on the singing of hymns. Great hymns of the faith. Not on a screen, but from an actual hymnal. There’s great encouragement hearing Christians sing to one another. There will also be time of prayer, reading of scripture and a gospel message of hope. At our core we value the fidelity of the holy scriptures, the saving power of our risen Lord and the joy of gathered worship all for the Glory of God.
